Production Plant Manager Non-Exempt

Summary

Provide oversight to all of the Processing Plant.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Production.
o Verifies orders and assigns task to employees, prints production labels,
o Assign employee tasks both direct and indirect!
o Punch in all direct labor by Item #
o Schedule rotation of employee within jobs
o When short staffed do line work.
o Check received fruit.
• Schedule breaks and lunches for production employees.
• Verify inventory and request product.
• Timekeeping: assures all employees punch their badge, then creates a timesheet and makes changes each employee change – scan in employees to direct or indirect labor by item.
• supervise employees throughout the day to ensure efficient operation, Safety and Quality
• Complete Accident Report forms when there are injuries.
• Provide inventory of product produced and left for next day on computer system.
• Conducts Safety Tailgate Meetings as requested.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma preferred.

Language Skills
Bilingual required
