Oxnard and Santa Maria Update
March has arrived and daylight savings is just around the corner. That means longer days, more stable weather and peak berry season ahead. The quality of Bobalu California strawberries speaks for itself right now and we look forward to promotional opportunities ahead as consumer demand heats up with the weather here. With the first day of Spring approaching, our Oxnard volume is ramping up approaching strong numbers for those large Spring displays in the produce department.
There are a few showers expected this weekend potentially in Santa Maria, but just enough to get the ground wet and keep the plants clean, so its welcome rain, if it shows up. We expect Santa Maria volume to kick in with stronger numbers in the next few weeks bringing more of that great California quality and flavor consumers want. Our sales team is in Florida this week for the SEPC (Southern Exposure Conference) and we look forward to meeting with you.
